Black History Month 2026: Beware of Conditional Allies!
Day 4
I’ve been searching for over a decade, but still haven’t found any evidence supporting the idea that “SJWs” being “mean” to people is what causes them to stop (or never start) supporting human rights. That leads me to believe it’s nonsense.
How does one even define being “mean?” Speaking from personal experience, I’ve had people call me “mean” for asking them not to call me the N-word (both hard-r and soft-a). When I first started this page, one person had a meltdown because I asked them not to use the R-slur on my posts. Am I supposed to believe these people were genuinely interested in supporting human rights so long as they got to use slurs while doing it? Miss me with that BS!
I’m not saying you should be a jerk to people for no reason, but the idea that you have to sit there and smile while someone dehumanizes you is ridiculous at best. In fact, I would side-eye anyone who tells you otherwise.
